Supplier Registration Process

In order to do business with Anthem, Inc. you are required to register as a supplier. This process is an opportunity for you to provide information about your business and tell us how you can help Anthem meet its corporate mission and goals.

Why should I register?

The Ariba Commerce Cloud allows you to interact with the Anthem procurement team and provides an avenue for you to provide additional details about your company’s capabilities, products and proposals. Use of the Ariba Commerce Cloud allows you to electronically transact with Anthem and other companies over the world’s largest B2B e-commerce network.

How do I register?

  1. Easily create a free account on the Ariba Commerce Cloud or login using an existing account. If you are registering as a new supplier, you will be asked to provide some basic information such as company name, address and contact information to create a user account. NOTE: To complete the supplier registration process you will leave antheminc.com and enter the Ariba Network site.
  2. Once your information is submitted, you will receive an email asking you to activate your account. After your account is activated, there will be some additional general questions which Anthem requires of all of its suppliers and prospective suppliers.
  3. After submitting your updated information, your profile will be sent to Anthem for review. Once approved, you will receive an Anthem Supplier Questionnaire which asks for some general information about your company, your capabilities and the goods and services you provide. This questionnaire will also give you the opportunity to describe any value add proposals which you may want to present to Anthem.
  4. After finalizing your responses, Anthem will review the information you have provided. You will be placed into our supplier pool for consideration of Anthem’s current and future procurement needs. For those companies that provide goods and services for which there is an immediate need and are a potential match, further information may be required. If Anthem does not currently have a need for your services, your profile will remain active in our supplier database for one year.

Important Information

  • As a potential supplier to Anthem we will evaluate your registration after submission to determine if there is a potential match. We ask that you not contact any Anthem executive or associate to circumvent the registration process. Any contact by a potential supplier to Anthem executives will be considered grounds for disqualification.
